  • Kat Plumbing and Heating provides our customers with furnaces up to 97% efficient. Our high efficiency furnaces contain U.V. filters or charcoal filters that enhance the air quality produced. We also carry a more cost-effective furnace that runs at 95% efficiency and is roughly $1,600 cheaper than the 97% efficiency.

• HRVs – Heat Recovery Ventilation: An HRV system consists of two air ducts: one that transports clean air in while the other transports stale air out. Both air streams divert through a heat exchanger, allowing heat to move from the old air that’s leaving the home or property to the clean air stream coming in. This is a closed exchange and works without the two airstreams encountering one another.

  • HRVs remove old stale air from limited airflow rooms, like basements, laundry rooms, and bathrooms and while doing this the HRV moves clean air into more commonly used rooms like bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms to maximize the air quality you breathe in.  We also offer customized HRV systems to give our clients the best possible air quality at the best possible price.
